The group Strabag Austria, one of the largest building contractors in the world and leader of the local market through its subsidiary Strabag Romania is involved in the execution of large projects in our country, such as the building that will house the largest laser equipment in the world, Salvation Cathedral and railway section Vinţu de Jos – Simeria. The company is active nationally since 1991, the Bucharest office being, however, open in 1992.
Currently, the group has branches in all major regions of Romania, with operations in all segments of construction, particularly in the infrastructure sectors and those involving the execution of buildings and civil engineering. For several years, Strabag Romania was also involved in projects implemented through public-private partnership (PPP) in the development of the railway works.
